Tens of thousands of New Yorkers marched in the city’s 49th gay pride parade. Attendees sported colorful outfits and carried signs touting slogans like "New York State of Love" and "Definitely Different." Organizers see the parade as a response to LGBT policy changes under the Trump administration. The parade began in 1970 after riots in response to the police raid of Stonewall Inn gay bar.
