The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK) have opened a road across the Military Demarcation Line, marking the first such inter-Korean connection in 14 years. It thought to be a further sign of a thawing in relations between Seoul and Pyongyang.
