Tripoli's only functioning airport under attack

The only functioning airport in Tripoli has been attacked by a fighter jet as clashes in the Libyan capital continue, Reuters reported on Monday.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties and damages.

Tensions in the country have risen after General Khalifa Haftar, whose Libyan National Army (LNA) controls most of eastern Libya, launched a campaign to take over Tripoli where the UN-backed government is based.
