M5.2 earthquake hits Xinjiang: CENC

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Tacheng City in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 5:54 a.m. BJT on Saturday (2154 GMT, Friday), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 46.73 degrees north latitude and 83.34 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 16 km, the CENC said in a statement.
No reports of casualties so far.
