ROK, DPRK team up at Liebherr 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships

The Republic of Korea (ROK) and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday announced they will form a joint team at the Liebherr 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Sweden, the sport's Seoul officials confirmed.
The joint squad will be called Korea.

The two teams were supposed to challenge each other in the quarterfinals, but the Korea Table Tennis Association (KTTA) announced later that they are going to advance to the semifinals without playing against each other.
