70 years on, China's CPPCC system grows more mature

The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Over the past 70 years, the CPPCC system has grown more mature, Guo Weimin, deputy director of the State Council Information Office, said during a press conference on the arrangements for the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, which begins on March 3.
