China's Twitter-like social platform, Weibo saw its monthly active users reach 445.9 million in September, surging 19 percent year-on-year, according to Weibo Corp's third-quarter earnings report released on Wednesday.
The NASDAQ-listed company also reported the third-quarter revenue of 460.2 million U.S. dollars, beating the consensus of 456.4 million polled by Zacks Investment Research, and adjusted earnings of 75 cents per share, compared with the consensus of 74 percent.
Advertising and marketing revenue in the third quarter made 48 percent growth from a year-ago period, reaching 409 million U.S. dollars.
Its share price jumped 4.89 percent to close at 61.99 U.S. dollars on Wednesday.
