Indian villagers were left startled after they witnessed "fish rain" as cyclone Phethai made landfall in Andhra Pradesh in south India, as footage from December 17 shows. The rare phenomenon of fish scattered on the ground occurs when strong winds of storms like Phethai carry displaced fish from the water bodies and drop it on land. Cyclone Phethai left at least one dead and forced thousands to evacuate.
