Former Chinese military chief of staff given life sentence for bribery

China's military court on Wednesday sentenced Fang Fenghui, former member of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) and former chief of staff of the CMC Joint Staff Department, to life imprisonment for bribery and crime of receiving a large income from unknown sources, Xinhua reported.
