American economist and Columbia University professor, Jeffrey Sachs, has slammed the U.S. move against Meng Wanshou, CFO of Chinese telecom giant Huawei. In an editorial entitled "U.S., not China, is the real threat of international rule of law," Professor Sachs calls the U.S. action "a shocking break with practice."
