Located in the Pacific Ocean, Green Island is 33 kilometers to the east of Taitung City in southeast Taiwan. Featuring spectacular scenic views, it is a perfect place to escape from busy urban life and enjoy a peaceful setting.
You can get around the island by motorbike or scooter. Or you can enjoy scuba diving in the deep water to explore tropical fish and beautiful coral reefs.
It is also a place where you can enjoy saltwater hot springs. Each year hot spring enthusiasts will come here from different parts of the world and soak themselves in hot baths.

The Sun Moon Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Taiwan, is located in Nantou County. It is said that its name was inspired by the fact that the east side of the lake is round like the sun, while its west side is long and narrow like a crescent moon.
Surrounded by sublime mountains, the Sun Moon Lake is characterized by picturesque views of turquoise waters. You can get on a canoe or kayak to explore the water and discover the coves.
Swimming is forbidden throughout the year with the only exception of the Swimming Carnival in September when over 10,000 people swim across the 3km stretch.
It can get extremely busy over the weekends, especially during the holiday seasons, so early booking is recommended.
Penghu Islands

There are day trips available to the islands from Penghu to enjoy the beautiful beaches. But if you would like to linger longer, it is recommended that you take local ferries to hop between isles and use scooters to get a glimpse of the local life.
