Thousands of people braved the rain and cold in London on Sunday to celebrate Lunar New Year. The Year of the Pig was welcomed with Chinese dragon and lion dances in Trafalgar Square and a parade through the UK capital's Chinatown district. The annual festivities that began 30 years ago as a small community event have now become the largest held outside Asia.
