During the final day of the 2018 Dragon Boat World Cup in southwest China's Chongqing, Team China, as a traditional powerhouse in the sport, took to the water and grabbed four gold medals in the final five categories.

In addition to a victory from Canada in the 1000-meter race, it was a successful last day of competition for China, which is one of the most important dragon boat racing events in the world.

Team China's previous victories came in the 100, 200 and 400-meter relays.

As for the final of the 500-meter race, the event featured China, Canada, Russia and Thailand. China came out on top by crossing the finish line just one second faster than the second-placed Thais.
