A S. Korean underwater research team has recently recovered 113 pieces of earthenware and other relics from Korea’s Goryeo Dynasty (918–1392) and China’s Song (960–1279) and Yuan Dynasties (1271–1368). The research team salvaged the relics from the seabed off Mado Island in S. Korea’s western coastal county of Taean.
