Playing their first Test since winning the Championship and in a dress rehearsal to the 2019 Rugby World Cup, New Zealand have steamrolled Australia yet again with a clinical display in Yokohama. Saturday's morale-boosting 37-20 win for the All Blacks came at the venue where they will take on their other arch-rivals, South Africa, who handed over the two-time defending world champions' only defeat in the championship this year.
The game, which saw the ABs dominating both possession and the score-sheet, saw the hapless Wallabies losing their third successive match against their much-fancied trans-Tasmanian arch-rivals this year.

A visibly satisfied ABs head coach Steve Hansen remarked, “This week we've tried to get a little bit wider and a little bit clearer and come out and play and when you play teams like Australia, they allow you to do that too, and we know now we are going to go up to the northern hemisphere and play sides that will want to shut us down, so we'll have to deal with that.”
The duo of Beauden Barrett and Rieko Ioane, who was named a man of the match for his yet another stellar performance, conjured two of the most spectacular tries of the game to guide the ABs to a comfortable victory over Michael Cheika's side. Barrett's scintillating 35-yard run for a try and later a tricky through the legs offloading to Ioane, the man with the most number of tries under his belt this year, sealed the deal for the all-conquering juggernaut from New Zealand.

A crucial intercept tries by Ben Smith added to the score-sheet as the ABs got into the groove early in the game. They may not be too superior in terms of qualitative analysis of the two sides, but the All Blacks rose to the occasion when it mattered the most. Learning from their debacle against the Springboks at home earlier this year, Kieron Read's side hardly allowed their rivals to take the game away from them. In fact, the ABs were clinical and opportunistic as they made full use of the erratic Wallabies.
