Zhang Yesui, spokesperson for the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), announced a detailed agenda for China's annual legislative session at a press conference on Monday.
March 5, Tuesday
The second session of the 13th NPC opens (the first plenary meeting of the session); 
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivers the annual government work report;
Legislators examine reports on the implementation of the annual plan on national economic and social development in 2018, and the draft plan on national economic and social development in 2019, and examine reports on the implementation of the central and local budgets in 2018, and the draft central and local budgets in 2019.
March 8, Friday
The second plenary meeting of the second session of the 13th NPC is held;
China's top legislator Li Zhanshu delivers the annual work report of the NPC Standing Committee;
Wang Chen, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, briefs lawmakers on a draft of China's foreign investment law.
March 12, Tuesday
The third plenary meeting of the second session of the 13th NPC is held;
Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court, delivers the annual work report of China's top court;
Zhang Jun, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, delivers the annual work report of China's top procuratorate.
March 15, Friday
The fourth plenary meeting of the second session of the 13th NPC is held;
Legislators vote on draft resolutions on the work reports listed above, the draft of China's foreign investment law, and other issues;
The second session of the 13th NPC concludes.

March 6-7, Wednesday-Thursday
Heads of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development attend press conferences.
March 8, Friday
The Chinese foreign minister answers questions on China's diplomatic policies and foreign relations.
March 9-11, Saturday-Monday
Heads of the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the People's Bank of China (the central bank), the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment attend press conferences.
March 12, Tuesday
Senior officials of the Supreme People's Court meet the press.
March 15, Friday
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang attends his annual press conference after the conclusion of the NPC session.
