The 28th Chinese naval escort fleet returned to the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao in Shandong Province on Thursday. The fleet not only completed its escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters, but was also invited to a joint maritime exercise that included 18 ships from seven countries. The fleet also paid friendly visits to four African countries.
