Chinese volleyball player Zhu Ting will start her third-season play for the Turkish side Vakifbank, according to the club announcement on Thursday.
After she won the honor of MVP of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Zhu signed a contract with the giants of the Turkish volleyball league and helped it achieve higher during the previous two seasons with four trophies - the CEV Champions League, the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup and the Turkish Super Cup. Those awards, in turn, made Zhu recognized as the MVP in the Turkish Women's Volleyball League for the last season as well.

Besides Zhu Ting, Vakifbank also renewed contracts with Milena Rasic, Lonneke Sloetjes and Kelsey Robinson.
Rasic won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics with the Serbian national team. She was also awarded Best Middle Blocker at the 2017-2018 CEV Champions League.
Dutch player Sloetjes was awarded Best Opposite Spiker in the 2016-2017 CEV Champions League when she won the gold medal with Vakifbank.
American player Kelsey Robinson, the bronze medalist at the 2016 Olympic Games, joined the club last season.
