Though both Real Madrid and Man United had a very disappointing 2018-19 season, it did not stop them from being the top two most valuable soccer brands. Real Madrid even saw their value grow by 26.9 percent to surpass Man United as No.1.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man City remained steady from No.3 to No.5, just like their performances in the past season. Barcelona and Man City managed to defend championships in their leagues while Bayern Munich lead by two points on the standings table with one game left in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile, all three teams failed to make any breakthrough in the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool stayed as No.6, its brand value increased by 20 percent thanks to the club's incredible performance this season both in the Premier League and in the Champions League. They will meet Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League Final at the Wanda Metropolitano on June 1.
Chelsea were not happy with the past 2018-19 season though they entered next season's Champions League and are hopeful of winning the UEFA Europa League title in the Final against Arsenal at the Olympic Stadium on May 29. Though Chelsea are still No.7, Paris Saint-Germain are catching up quickly. The French super team saw their value grow by 21.3 percent to reach 1.02 billion U.S. dollars, replacing Arsenal as No.8 and only six million away from Chelsea.
Making the Champions League Final was a great stimulation to brand value growth of Hotspur as their value increased by 20.4 percent. However, they are still only a little brother compared with the real poster clubs of England. For example, Man United's brand value almost doubles that of Hotspur.
