These amazing portraits of comedy duo Laurel and Hardy represent their home countries. The mosaic picture of Stan Laurel is made from 4,056 British pennies, while Oliver Hardy, who was born in Harlem, Georgia, is made from 4,056 US cents. /VCG Photo
The two portraits were commissioned by Julian Pickford to celebrate the release of the biographical Stan & Ollie. The world premiere of Stan & Ollie, starring Steve Coogan and John C Reilly, takes place in London on October 21 ahead of its general UK release in January. /VCG Photo
Mr Pickford said: "We are both hugely excited to hear about the Stan and Ollie movie, and would love to see what the filmmakers think of the portraits." /VCG Photo
