Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday held talks with Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister Peter O’Neill in Beijing. President Xi hailed Papua New Guinea's stance on the one-China policy, adding that the two countries should expand cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Prime Minister O'Neill thanked China for supporting Papua New Guinea to host this year's APEC leaders' meeting and welcomed China's leading role in addressing climate change.
