Cargo ship capsizes in south China's Beijiang River

The Yueyingde Cargo 8030 sank in the Beijiang River, Guangdong Province in south China on Monday, Xinhua reported citing local authorities.

One body has been recovered from the cargo ship, which sank at 11:30 p.m. BJT.

There could be at least seven others on board.

A search and rescue operation is currently underway.
