Mexican voters on Sunday began casting their ballots in presidential and legislative elections that are set to be the largest in the country's history.

As well as the presidency, over 3,400 posts at the local, state and federal levels are up for grabs, including all the seats in the Senate and the lower house of parliament.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, 65, is heavily favored to win the presidential election from three other candidates.
