Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a message to President Joko Widodo of Indonesia, expressing his condolences over the tsunami in Indonesia that has killed over 370 people.
In his message, President Xi offered his condolences to the victims and sympathy to their relatives and the injured.
Xi said that we believe the Indonesian people will overcome the natural disaster and go back to normal production and life soon under the leadership of the Indonesian government. China will provide assistance for relief work in the Indonesian tsunami through the Red Cross Society of China.
As of Monday night, at least 373 people were confirmed dead and over 1,400 injured from the tsunami that struck beaches around the Sunda Strait in Indonesia on Saturday night.
