French soccer giants Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Chinese star playmaker Wang Shuang on a two-year deal.
The 2017 Chinese Women’s Footballer of the Year underwent PSG medical tests on Thursday in Shenzhen, where the Ligue 1 champions are due to play Monaco in the Trophee des Champions on Saturday.
Wang was pictured with a PSG home kit at the club’s press room on Friday night and will wear the No 28 shirt in the new season.

"Wang Shuang is a very talented youngster and one of the best soccer players in China. I'm very excited she became the first Chinese player at PSG," said Bruno Cheyrou, sporting director of PSG's women's team.
Although an ardent follower of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wang was hailed as "Lady Messi" by Chinese media for her stunning technical ability and goalscoring talent. A veteran of the 2015 Women’s World Cup and the Rio Olympics, she has racked up 80 international appearances, scoring 19 times.

Despite her young age, the free-scoring talisman has all the attributes to justify such a lofty comparison with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner: the wand-like left foot, the ability to beat opponents with incredible ease and exceptional dead-ball skills.
At club level, Wang spent two successful seasons at Dalian Quanjian, where she won two Chinese Women's Super League titles and a host of personal accolades.
