Heavy rain in northern Chile causes rivers to overflow
01:00

Heavy high-altitude rain in northern Chile has caused rivers to overflow and floods to hit the Atacama Desert. Homes and roads across parts of the region were destroyed and survivors are counting the cost of the deadly flooding. In the Atacama Desert, normally one of the driest places on the Earth, a 60m (196ft) waterfall that had run dry for 10 years has been reactivated.
