Mount Huashan locates near the city of Huayin in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, about 120 kilometers east of Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province.
As one of China's Five Great Mountains, Mount Huashan is known for its steep and perilous peaks, with its highest peak towering at 2,154.9 meters above sea level.
The four other Greats are Mount Taishan in eastern Shandong Province, Mount Hengshan in northern Shanxi Province, Mount Songshan in central Henan Province and Mount Hengshan in central Hunan Province.
