According to the document issued by the State Council Information Office, a new residence permit regulation will take effect on Sept. 1. Residents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will soon be able to enjoy more rights, basic public services and other conveniences relating to their study, work and business in the Chinese mainland.
