Forest fire rages in southwest China

Nearly 600 firefighters and three helicopters have been battling a forest fire in southwest China's Sichuan Province. It broke out in a forest area about 2,500 meters above sea level and forced 32 residents to evacuate. The blaze has burned around 50 hectares of forest and grassland so far. No casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
