A man armed with a knife killed two and injured another two students at a primary school in Ningyuan County, central China's Hunan Province, on Wednesday, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred at 7:16 a.m. BJT (23:16 GMT) on Wednesday.
The injured students have been hospitalized. They are not in critical condition.
The suspect, surnamed Zheng, 31, has been arrested. An investigation is underway.
