China has opened a new chapter with the Philippines, ever since President Xi visited the Southeast Asian country last week. The two countries have agreed to upgrade bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The Philippines Finance Minister said if projects were successfully financed, Chinese debt would not be an issue for the country. Earlier today China's foreign ministry responded to the comments and on the situation of investment relations.
