M7.5 earthquake jolts Papua New Guinea, Tsunami warning issued

A 7.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Papua New Guinea at a depth of 10 kms on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported.  
The quake took place 44 kilometers northeast of Kokopo in PNG, the USGS said.
A Tsunami alert was issued by the U.S. Tsunami Warning system, saying "based on all available data...hazardous Tsunami waves are forecast for some coasts." 
There have been no immediate reports of casualties.
