‍The Chinese named the most sweating days in summer “Dog days,” which usually begin in mid-July and last about 30 to 40 days, as is marked in the traditional lunar calendar every year.
During these days, people would stay in air-conditioning rooms as much as possible to avoid the suffocating heat; animals do the same thing.
But what if they live in the wild?

It is proved that the wild animals may have even better during the “summer holidays.” A flock of little egrets were captured spending the summer along the Xin’an River, which flows along the Mount Huangshan, a renowned tourist destination during the summer as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The area is covered with dense forest, and Xin’an River is also known for its clear and winding water flow.
It seems the little egrets have found themselves a wonderful resort to spend the summer.
