Asian Culture and Tourism Exhibition kicks off in Beijing

The three-day Asian Culture and Tourism Exhibition kicked off Thursday in Beijing on the sidelines of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations.
The exhibition, hosted by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, aims to help visitors better understand Asian civilizations and promote exchanges and cooperation at the industrial level.

Covering 30,000 square meters of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, the event represents a gathering of governments, travel agencies, hotels, resorts and airlines across China and from more than 30 Asian countries and regions, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
Among all the exhibition halls, the Asian culture and tourism exhibition hall covers the largest area, where Chinese traditional culture of calligraphy and painting, ceramics, bronze ware, sculpture, silk, opera, tea art and folk arts such as New Year paintings and paper cutting are exhibited.

A photo exhibition of world heritage sites in Asia, and art performances are also being featured to allow visitors to savor what Asia has to offer.
The exhibition will run from Thursday to Saturday in Beijing.
