What is unique about the exhibition is that visitors can see how Chinese artists have explored giving Chinese elements a position in the international fashion industry.

The exhibits demonstrated how Chinese artists are carrying forward the beauty of China with unprecedented confidence.

"'West is the best' -- people used to blindly worship western arts, but Chinese elements have their own beauty. It would be a shame if we didn't make good use of it," Mu, a professor of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute who is also an art critic, shared with CGTN.

"Now, there is a growing tendency to return to Oriental aesthetics. Chinese fashion, which represents Oriental creativity and Chinese culture, is being given more and more attention and has gradually become a new fashion trend leading the way. Fashion Beijing provides us a great platform for us to see that," commented Mu.
