The Smithsonian's National Zoo reopened to the public and its popular "Panda Cam" came back online on Tuesday after a record-breaking 35-day partial U.S. government shutdown. The zoo was closed from January 2 to 28, but during the shutdown, its animal care team still came to work and captured the pandas frolicking in the snow on camera from January 12 to 13.
