A Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force formation conducted an island patrol training exercise on April 26. The formation took off from various military airfields and was made up of fighters, early warning and surveillance aircraft, and H-6K bombers. The exercise sent the formation over the Miyako Strait and Bashi Channel, as part of the island patrol.
