The UK is set to showcase some of the country's most pioneering technologies at the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
Manchester-based start-up Mi Hiepa will showcase REZZIL Academy, a football training platform that aims to identify and improve talents.
It uses VR headsets and four trackers placed on the feet and shins. The device collects natural movement data points that help players with training and rehabilitation. Clubs can also input match data so players can immerse themselves in real games.

"If we to do it in real life, you need 25 people to do that one drill while you can do that without the impacts and repetition a thousand times so the benefit very accelerate," said Adam Dickinson, MiHiepa's development director.
The platform has been regularly used by up to 15 European professional clubs.
The company hopes to use the opportunity of taking part in CIIE to tap into China's rapidly growing football market.

"We received an invitation from the UK government to participate in the China International Import Expo. They saw us as a leading-edge innovative company and thought that we could really show what Britain is doing."
Sports Director at Hiepa Andy Etches said "We think it is a great opportunity for us to reach out to the Chinese market and engage with the grassroot football movement (that) is beginning there. So obviously we can help develop players for the future of China."
Meanwhile, augmented reality start-up Inde will showcase a mirror that lets users meet, interact and take photo with animated characters. Meanwhile Inition's VR technology will allow people to experience a 360° 3D video and audio journey, transporting users into a "live" orchestra performance.
