Two dead, five missing in suspected gas accident in SW China

Two people were killed and five others were unaccounted for in a suspected gas accident in a tunnel under construction in Weixin County, southwest China's Yunnan Province, on Monday evening, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. local time. Two people outside the tunnel sustained minor injuries.

The search operation and investigation into the cause of the accident are underway.
