On the tennis lawns of Wimbledon, seven-time champion Serena Williams rallied from a set down to beat Camila Giorgi in the quarter-finals.
The world number 181 becomes the lowest ranked player to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals, and just five months into her return from maternity leave, Williams looks like the woman to beat.
The 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory put the former world number one Serena Williams into the last four for the 11th time, and keeps alive her bid for a 24th Grand Slam title, which would tie Margaret Court for the all-time record.
On the men's side, fifth seed Juan Martin Del Potro is through the last eight at Wimbledon for the second time after defeating Gilles Simon 7-6,7-6,5-7,7-6. The match took a staggering four and a half hours over the course of two days and it doesn't get any easier for the Argentine because up next in the last eight is world number one Rafael Nadal.
