Today is World Book Day, an annual event designated by the UNESCO to promote reading, publishing and copyright. And this year, anchors from China Media Group will take you on a journey through the exquisite works of Shakespeare to explore the beauty of voices and language.
In today’s episode, CGTN host Jeff Moody brings you Scene 7, Act 2 from Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It”, which begins with the famous lines: “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players…”
Jeff Moody is a veteran in television news, who used to work for the BBC, ITV and a number of other news broadcasters. He joined CGTN in October 2016, and is currently learning Chinese. His hobbies include theater, reading, horseback riding and cooking.
