2022 Winter Olympics: Beijing sets up countdown billboards for venue construction

A six-meter high, three-meter wide countdown billboard has been set up at what will be the national speed skating venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, according to Xinhua. 
Construction of all venues for the 2022 Winter Olympics will be completed by 2020, promised the Beijing Major Projects Constructions Headquarters Office.

The construction of another 26 projects for the 2022 Winter Olympics, such as the Shougang Ski Jumping Platform and the Winter Olympic Village in Yanqing will also start in 2018.

Beijing has also made plans for these venues after the Winter Olympic Games. Several of the Olympic Villages will be used as public rental houses. The one in Yanqing will open to the public as sports hotels for winter tourism and vacation.
