A total of 16 teams from 12 countries took part in the eighth international ice sculpture competition in Harbin, the capital city of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, from December 30, 2018 to January 1, 2019. In the Ice-Snow World, the competition venue, 64 contestants from countries like China, Spain, Italy, Russia, Egypt and Mexico made marvelous pieces while braving temperatures below minus 10 degrees Celsius.
