Five houses will be 3D printed in Meerhoven, a residential area of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. The homes will be made to different sizes, specifications and look like large boulders. To complete the printing, developers created "stable shape concrete," and injected wire reinforcements into each layer, making the final structure safe and sturdy. The project is the world's first commercial housing initiative to use 3D printed concrete.
