At over 4,000 meters, the Tibetan antelopes rule the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. They are fast runners that can escape from predators like snow leopards and wolves. The fight among male antelopes is fierce during the mating season because one male antelope usually can choose four to six female antelopes as partners. Some may stay single or even die if they fail to win the hearts of female antelopes.
