Two people were killed and four others injured when a grenade was thrown into a mosque. Regional police said investigators were trying to determine the motive and identity of the suspect in the attack. It was the second explosion at a religious site in the southern Philippines this week. A military official said the attack was still being investigated and did not believe it was retaliation for the bombing of a Catholic cathedral in Jolo on Sunday, in which 21 people were killed.
