China orders arrest of former National Energy Administration head

The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has decided to arrest Nur Bekri, former Party secretary as well as a former head of the National Energy Administration, on suspicion of taking bribes, the SPP said on Tuesday.

The decision was made after the National Supervisory Commission finished an investigation of Nur Bekri and handed his case to the SPP, the SPP statement said.

The investigation of the case is continuing.
