The first China International Import Expo kicks off on November 5 in Shanghai. It is also China's first national-level import exclusive expo. Over 3,000 enterprises from more than 130 countries and regions took part in the event.
Besides the usual exhibition of commodities, what sets this expo apart is the demo for the latest technologies, and talks about cutting barriers to the flow of goods.
At the Intelligent and High-End Equipment Pavilion, which showcases large and heavy products in the technology-intensive fields of aerospace, robotics and automation, robots have given a new meaning to the phrase "lend a helping hand.”
