Chinese President Xi Jinping visited a national flag squad in Beijing on Saturday morning. He observed the squad's routine training and had photos taken with the officers and soldiers.
Xi extended Spring Festival greetings to all the officers and soldiers and encouraged them to bear in mind their mission and responsibilities, adhere to first-class standards, and defend the dignity of the national flag.
During an inspection tour in Beijing on Friday, Xi visited residents and officials at the grassroots level. He also inspected the preparation work for the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and visited athletes, coaches and staff of the Beijing Organizing Committee.
