New Paris Saint-Germain signing Wang Shuang announced her arrival at the club in style on Sunday, producing a stunning long-range strike and won a penalty on her PSG debut in a 5-1 battering of their city rivals Paris FC in Ligue 1.
The 23-year-old, who returns from international duty after leading China to finish as the runner-up at the Asian Games soccer tournament, unleashed an unstoppable drive into the top corner from outside of the area in the 39th minute to make it 2-0 for PSG.
Dubbed "Lady Messi" by Chinese media and fans, Wang was a constant thorn in the Paris FC's defense, where she used her incredible pace and skill to create problems.

Right after the hour mark, Wang performed an audacious Marseille roulette inside the penalty area and won a penalty after she was brought down. Grace Geyoro stepped up to convert the spot kick and put Paris FC in damage-limitation territory.
Two minutes later, Wang was subbed off to rapturous applause from home supporters in what will surely go down as a memorable start to her PSG career.
The French champions' quality shone through the final stretch of the match, with further efforts from Kadidiatou Diani and Eve Perisset putting the outcome beyond all doubt, rendering Perisset's late own goal mere footnotes.
With two wins in a row, PSG will look to continue their bright start to the season when they travel to Soyaux-Charente next Saturday.
